Twitterscan seems to be temporarily unavailable - try again later?
My feeling is that science is become more co-operative all the time, but there's still a long way to go. Is Twitter a useful tool for scientists? Let's get a group of us there and start a debate!

I couldn't get the twitterscan to work....
I need to follow someone around and see where teh value is... Alan?
But I think one of the big problems is that by nature (more accurately human design) science research is a competitive place. And everyone is already too busy to help someone that isn't going to put their name on a paper.
It may change with the big-science collaborative projects.... and a new generation of kids joined at the hip to a cell phone or the like.

I am a big fan of Twitter, you can get horoscopes and epistolary fiction, but haven't come across much science yet. Would love to see that change!
