If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a video worth?

Video is an integral part of web 2.0, from YouTube and blip.tv to webcams, instant messaging and web conferencing.

Photo sharing sites such as Flickr, Zooomr and Photobucket not only allow users to share personal photographs but are widely used as photo repositories. Like the video hosting sites, the photo sharing sites incorporate innovative social tools which allow photos to be tagged and browsed by users. Flickr now contains over 2 billion images. Photoshop Express is a particularly impressive online photo editing and sharing site - and it's free!

Image capture and screencasting tools such as Jing and Skitch (Macintosh OS X only) not only make putting images and moving screencasts online literally a snap, but also provide free hosting for the files:
